Allandora looked out.

"Dunno. Let's have a look...." She strided out towards the commotion, Deyrni close behind. She looked out, and being so much taller than the other elves, saw a group of soldiers clustered around an elven woman. She looked to be in her thirties, though her eyes showed that she was much, much older. Allandora cocked her head.

"Hmmm...I looks like one of those leadres Estallon was talking about just arrived."

"Think you can describe her?" Asked Deyrni, who was slightly shorter than the other elves, and couldn't see a thing.

"Here....." Allandora grabbed Deyrni and hoisted him up onto her shoulders as if he was a small bag of flour. Deyrni blushed at being up on Al's shoulders as if he was a little kid, but said nothing. He looked at the elf and paled. It was Shi'Saliah. The one elf who could discover him. He was at first shocked, but the shock was soon replaced by icy cold fear, gripping over his heart like an iron fist. He wispered to Allandora.

"Al, let me down. please."

ASllandora obliged, and she saw Deyrni's pale face. "What's the matter? Something wrong?"

Deyrni nodded. "Yeah, but I can't tell you about it, so don't ask." he shuddered. "I'm going to have to stay away from her....."

Allandora cocked her head. "Who is she? You know her?"

Deyrni nodded. "All of the elves do. It's Shi'Saliah...."

Allandora cocked her head. "Shi what? Never heard of her...." she frowned slightly "What, am I supposed to know her or somethin'?"

Deyrni stared at her in pure shock. "She's only the most powerful and oldest elf of all time.....How can yu ave never heard of her? Even the Drow know who she is....."

Allandora grinned. "I was raised by humans....."

Deyrni nodded, understanding. "Oh. That explains a lot....No wonder you were being so.....un-elvish with Estallon. And why he didn't seem to mind...."

Allandora nodded. "Yeah.....I've still got a lot to learn..." she glanced a Shi'Saliah, who was getting closer. "Well you said we should avoid her. Why don't we go?"

Deyrni nodded. "Okay. C'mon, let's go...." They turned and slipped down a nearby alley to avoid the elven visitor.
