Allandora jumped up and heaved herself n the branches of the tree when they stopped. She always loved to settle down in trees, and munching on an apple, she started to read the book.

After three chapters, though, she was getting bored. It was a pretty dry book, and she hated boring books. So she climbed up the tree, higher and higher, until she reached the top. Poking her head out, she saw forest as far as she could see. But off, almost hidden out of sight, was a village.

Pulling out a telescope she had managed to snag before leaving Bergost, she studied it. It seemed elven, because it looked as if it was almost a part of the forest. She had read about elven villages when she was little, and she was always curious, hoping to find something new.She stayed up in the tree and studied the elven village for a long time...
