Selvere smiled. Syriam nodded. They turned to leave, conversing with each other.

Will you be traveling alone Syraim? The south is a dangerous place.

Syriam nodded.

I've been alone for quite a while, besides the armies here wouldn't keep up. Would just slow me down for they cannot fly. I have oceans to cross. Transforming into a dragon will get me there in half the time that an elven warrior could do it in.

Selvere agreed.

Selvere called from the streets, grabbing her hand softly.

Allandora, I must tell you something. I am leaving. I know Aslana told us to stay together but this is a very important mission. I must leave now. I just came to tell you goodbye, and if I don't make it alive, I want you to tell Aslana. This is a very dangerous mission for me and Syriam and I don't even think a tough elf such as yourself would even make it out there. I must do this alone and I am sure I will make it.

He kissed Allandora lightly on the forehead just of a friendly, goodbye kiss, and walked out of the village, hopin not to cause a hastle. He did not like people cheering him on or having parties for him so he wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Syriam transformed into a dragon, aiming south. He stood there, waiting for the wind to shift south for it would be easier to travel downwind....
