Oh Noah! That is so heart wrenching what happened to your friend! Though, I can completely relate. I, too, have lost many friends through the years to such tragedies. The one that hit me hardest was the summer of 1998, 2 weeks before I started my frist year in college, one of my close friends from highschool (her name is Angel) died in a car accident. She wasn't drinking or anything. It was rainning and she fell asleep behind the wheel. Flipped her car 6 times, and snapped her neck. At least she didn't suffer. Which is thankful.

Beautiful words. You are a true friend to this person. He was lucky to have you in his life.
