For sure, a communication between you and another is going on. It could be someone who passed on, or someone quite alive in the physical body. Get yourself a log book and write down everything you can think of every time you experience a dream and/or anything "odd." Keep a book beside where you sleep, with a pen, and a light you can touch to turn on. When you have a vision or hear an unsusual sound, get your book and pen and start writing whatever comes to mind.

I don't feel your experiences are at all negative, and actually are quite common in the psychic realm of phenomenon. I have had bells ring(from different parts of the world), pagers go off in non-service areas, phone numbers left on message machines that don't exist anymore but were old phone numbers of people who lived years ago, flashes of light, images you wouldn't believe, scents of people from the past (and present)in various places (one was Tabu perfume) and many more. Keep in touch and we'll see how this develops. Have to tried to contact your Spirit Guide?
