Just for the record: that's not true. You're better off with younger sperm, since it is less likely to have mutations that cause birth defects and health problems.
The volume that actual sperm take up in one ejaculation is so miniscule you would not even notice if there was no sperm at all, so you can't judge sperm count on ejaculation volume.
