It turns out that a Sperm Donor can "deposit" his sperm in a sperm bank and AUTOMATICALLY go thru the process of giving up his parental rights to whatever (and if) children that may be conceived from his sperm (standard procedure for ANY donor) and AT THE SAME time a woman may "own" that sperm for her exclusive use. This 100% solves the "nightmare" issue of having a Known Donor but yet making sure he does not have rights to the child. Which is EXACTLY what I want... I want to become a Known Donor but I do not want rights or obligations to the child born... just to be known and friendly with that child and his parents... There's ONE sperm bank in NYC that will do this process (and a bunch of them in California). If you are interested in me being a known donor, let me know.
