I am looking to become a "known donor" for a lesbian couple.
I am a partnered gay man who's already a father to a wonderful baby boy born July 2004 and conceived via a surrogacy arrangement.
My surrogate mother helped me fulfill my dream of becoming a parent and yet be there for the child so he can meet her and his half brother/sisters.
I would like to help the same way.
My stats: I am 42, born in 1962, Israeli born and raised, live in the USA for the last 20 years, American citizen, Jewish (not religious), family tree is researched back to the 1730s, distantly related to Gustav Mahler and Franz Kafka, good looking (I was definitely a "pretty boy" as a teenager), served in the Israeli army (I am a sergeant), 6'1" tall, 195lb, black hair, balding, brown eyes, M.B.A., work in the area of Electronic Commerce (computers), and much more...
At the age of 12 it was determined that I have more than 140 IQ. I am a Magna-Cum-Laude for my B.Sc in Computer Science and Magna-Cum for my Master in Business Administration. I am very healthy but I had to pass a surgery as a child to correct a "crossed-eyes" situation (a muscle problem). My family is very healthy. No known
Genetic diseases or mental problems.
My son was born 8lb14oz and is in perfect health, very content and easygoing baby. He has dark brown hair, very tall and, so far, blue eyes.
I do not want to be involved in raising the child for which I would be the known donor. I want to relinquish all my legal rights and obligations to that child. I just want to be known as the biological father... you two will be the Parents... I will NOT be a parent...
same as with my surrogate mother.
I found out that few sperm banks, one of them in NYC, allow for me to donate sperm, giving up my parental rights to anything born from it UPFRONT and the lesbian couple can "own" the sperm for their exclusive use... this is probably my preferred way of doing
that...
I see the whole thing as big family: you two as the parents, I am the biological father, my son as the half brother and your children my son's half-siblings...
My requirements:
- Lesbian couple in an established economical and relationship status. I am only looking for ONE such couple. I have no intentions of being a known donor for more than one family... and I hope you plan for more than one child...
- Live at least 50 miles from me (such as NYC). I live in central New Jersey - it would be easier if you were "far enough" for many reasons...
- Not "too" religious. I want the child to have freedom to be what they want to be
- Be easy going, trusting and comfortable at taking calculated risks. With several lesbian couples I saw such high level of suspicion that it paralyzed them from making any decisions. You and I will NOT have an absolute guarantee that everything will be as planned. We need to trust and be sincere with each other...
