What have I started here? What a bunch of chatterboxes! Latterly we seem to have drifted off-message - I doubt if too many American readers even know who David Blunkett is, far less Boris Johnson for that matter. What does surprise me is how British politicians seem to have a problem keeping their pants on once they reach Westminster. You would think they were too busy for one, but no.... Looking back to the Macmillan administration, who remembers Mr Profumo paying attention to Christine Keeler who also shared her favours with Eugene Ivanov, the Soviet Naval Attache and GRU officer in London? That scandal brought down poor old Super Mac! Perhaps we should bring this discussion to an end before the BBC invites us all to take part in a talk show?
