"Well, the parents were told by thier healer, to, at Turnover, give thier children SPECIFIC presents. Give the optimist firelizard manure, and give the pessimist all the things that he could possibly desire.

Well, that's what they did. They looked for any presents, buying thier pessimistic son all these interesting, new gadgets, and placing them in his room. Then, since they couldn't get the firelizxard manure, they had to go through all the trouble of getting a green firelizard who was about to clutch. They took her guano and put it all over the boy's sleeping area.

Come Turnover, both boys went into thier rookms, to find thier turnover gifts.

The pessimistic boy moaned and groaned, saying how he had too many things, and not enough sufficient energy to work all his new things, but the optimist was found laughing, rolling around in the manure, saying, "YAY! YAY! This is WONDERFUL! I've got a FIRELIZARD!"

She grinned. "That's the end of my story. I guess there's no real point to it, it just sounded fitting at the time.
