Only partially true. Each congregation is independent, so each congregation will not be exactly alike.

There are congregations who do not eat in the "building" and oppose kitchens in the building for that reason. I think they base in on 1 Cor 11 where Paul says "what do you not have houses in which to eat?" However, these congregations are very much in the minority among churches of Christ.

As far as intrumental music, you will find that most congregations will not use them in worship. They base this on the specific instruction to "speak to one another in Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs." They believe since this was specific, going beyond it would not be right. If an instruction is "specific" then it should be done in that specific way. There are churches among Churches of Christ that do use an instrument, but they are very much in the minority as well. As a matter in fact, the Churches of Christ that use instruments typically have a greater fellowship among other congregations that use the instrument, and the same is true with the non-instrumental ones. Of course, that is to be expected.
