-he can sense her presence beside him. smiling amiably he turns to speak, and then pulls back with surprised amusement as she licks at his face. a sly grin perching atop his face he stands, shakes, and settles comfortably back onto his haunches. silently he preens himself for a moment, before sliding forward and moving his ruby to her own pelt, the coarse fur around her neck, comforting her. as he had sensed her presence, he sensed her frustration at his ignorance, and he felt bad. she was a good wolf, definetely worthy of this pack. he hadn't been all that nice to her, had he? nadirs twitch, the thick scent of heat reaching his nostrils and momentarily exciting him, only to be dismissed as he settles into a conversation-
