Subject: Important! Everyone In!

.aaallllrrriiigghhhttty then! as you can all see, i've given the tt a HUGE makeover, and i think this will call for some explaining, yes? so here it goes. sit back, relax, grab a coffee and read for a while hehe.

.first and foremost, i expect you can see the obvious changes of color and style. nice eh? -claps self on the back-. secondly, you probably see how the ranks were wiped out, and have been replaced with something new and interesting. this, i must say, is an idea borrowed from 13d and my horsie painting of black, but i've tried to change it to fit our needs. here are the definitions of each title.

.alphas and betas.
.the highest ranking wolves, these four work together to make sure the pack is run successfully. to be obeyed and respected.

.second in commands.
.these wolves have earned the leads respect and admiration. they are friends, advisors, whatever you want to call them. they are almost part of the ranked quartet, except that they report their findings and such to the leads, rather than deiding on things. get it? no? ach, that's ok.

.generals.
.the best hunters, the smartes fighters, these wolves are tough and merciless right to the bone. when it comes to down to a raid, these are the wolves that the alphas and bets talk to. these are the leads that take a handful of wolves and position them properly, following orders from obsidian, of course. hehehe.

.trainers.
.these wolves are also skilled at fighting, but they lack the drive that it takes to be a general. perhaps they just aren't big enough, or smart enough, or perhaps they just aren't there yet. but the job of these trainers is to inspect everyone, watch them. sort of guard, but that's only a portion of their job. they must also train the wolves for hunts and battles. during raids, they may take the pups and show them what happens. there may be 'school days' occasionally, or one on one training. whatever they deem fit. to them, they are the masters, and the rest of the pack are their students. (exluding those above them).

.tactitians.
.tactitians (a term borrowed from 13d) are the brains of the pack. they are cunning, stealthy wolves. they generally aren't good fighters/hunters, but with their clever minds they assist obsidian in the attack to sue against the horses, or the battle needed lest someone within the pack revolt. they are respected by all, but feared by many as well. they spy, they know. they see things others do not, and they have the power to bluntly inform obsidian of their discoveries. so watch out...

.one of the flames.
.you have been accepted into the pack. you have proven yourself loyal and worthy of being one of us. many wolves will begin their rank-climbing here, many will never get past it. it is not a specialized rank. you are simply one of us.

.awaiting rank.
.these wolves have been accepted into the pack, but their areas of skill are yet to be decided. a specialty, like tactitian, or simply a flame?.

.acceptance pending.
.these are the newcomers. nobody knows them, nobody trusts them. the hardest place to be, you must strive to prove your worth while being respectful and submissive. it's tough to get past this point, but if you, congratulations.

.exiled.
.we no longer have a use for these creatures. whether we banished them or killed them, they are no longer allowed within the pack.

.ooook so those are the ranks. i'm trying really hard now to get this pack rolling. more time will be spent here, fighting and talking and judging and all that. feel free to fight amongst yourselves, but try not to get hurt. every so often, when a raid comes about, that's when things get hectic. no more 'let's raid'. now, it's serious. we talk, we plan, and finally, we go. if anyone screws up the plan we have decided upon, your judgement will await you back home. depending on how badly you screwed, you could be exiled, or simply lose your rank. tsk tsk.

.we are no longer a sorry bunch of dogs. we are wolves. we the flickering fire wolves, each a single flame united to make a blaze. let's rock this joint.
