Germany has released the murderer of Petty Officer 2nd Class Robert D. Stethem, USN--and helped that {reproductive mishap} slip back into Lebanon. My Navy ID Card was still a green one during the 1985 hijacking of TWA Flight 847. My attitude remains that it could have been me--or anyone else who served. Germany's sanctimonious attitude towards putting murderers out of our misery seems conspicuously to exclude the "death-penalty" imposed on an American Sailor (for being one) by a Lebanese terrorist.

Germany must be educated that our memories are longer than "life" to which that terr was sentenced. SBT, Daimler-Chrysler et al.; Germany just edged past France & Red China on Veterans' lists.

RKBA! Best regards & Season's Greetings, all.
