no i didn't think that. my rant wasn't personal, sweetie. as i just wrote to Paul, i'm passionate about the issue and i'm offended by society's attitudes, but you didn't offend me at all. i just get all riled up talking about this sh*t, ya know???

> Everyone is different and some can lose weight, others

agreed. that's fatalistic and dangerous, imho. i think SA is better off recognizing that with a LOT of effort, weight loss is possible, but that it's tough and people aren't always at a place in their lives to deal with it. some opt NEVER to deal with it, and that's their right too. but i agree that saying it's impossible is a copout. it's like they have to rationalize their right to be treated with respect by saying that they can't "help" being where they are. imo, people should be treated with respect whether they can "help" themselves better their situations or not.

oh, i know.... my adventures in lowfat eating ended awhile ago. i've read EVERYTHING, believe me!!! i'm into moderation and lotsa protein and whole foods, etc, etc..... not fun, but i wanna be healthy and comfortable, so i'm still plugging away!!!
