Subject: Crazy stuff in Detroit. Security guard kills guy!

This is in my state and a big deal in the news. This Afro-American family was shopping at Lord and Taylors--and they bought 200 dollars worth of stuff. Their daughter walked out with a bracelet worth 4 dollars on her wrist. Later they said shed forgotten to take it off....Id believe that. Im sure if shed asked for it they spent 200 dollars an extra 4 would make no difference!!! ANyhow as they are walking out this crazy security guard guy along with the group and grabs the daughter---shes only 11 years old!!! and a fight ensues! I think by the way they grabbed her scared the people....it wasnt a please sir can you bring your daughter back in type of deal..... A big one with 4 people or so on each side. The security guard then chokes the Dad who is trying to protect his daughter.....and kills him! by a choke hold!.....Can you believe this stuff???? If I lived close enough Id be joining in on the protest they are having and a boycott of the mall. Many are saying it is racially motivated. I do think it has that degree to it. SOme people say people like AL Sharpton and friends exagerrate but they do not...Ive had too many personal black friends who have told me about being stopped constantly for DWB driving while black! This whole thing alarmed me! I read this in total disbelief. Why such utter outrageous force!! Stealing is wrong....but killing a man over his daughter taking a bracelet even on purpose or by mistake is CRAZY! What is this world coming to!!!???

I had a white friend once who went to Tower records and bought two CDs....and was tackled on the way out for stealing them!! He had purchased them upstairs! and had a receipt...they had to let him go...but he did file a complaint. They didnt physcially injure him but grabbed him pretty harshly and imagine the embarrassment when he did nothing wrong! Some of those security guards are loose cannons!
