HI Jane! I got to write you soon~! As for message boards...unless they are run democratically you are in for a lot of trouble! Then the favoritism and buttkissing can get out of hand! The message board in question is an example of nepotism run rampant. with leadership that demands total obedience and agreement and if you dont.....well its not a happy place anymore! Also one may find they dont fit in a crowd like they think they might with time and it simply may be disappointing. A person may have conflicting values and find it best to move on. I have found some boards where they do keep things overall respectful....boards have to have leadership that is fair and doesnt play favorites and this can be found from time to time. I also go on bulletin boards dealing with religion and such and for those to work...a moderator and some rules are needed. Most of those places apply the rules fairly which makes things much much better. Some bulletin boards last for years and some very short times. It varies alot. I have noticed many of the Size Acceptance old timers on one board are long gone! there is a turn over from time to time!
Hey take care!
