Well, most people will tell you different things. Footbag is very personalized. Different people like different moves. Here's a list of how I learned. Take what you can use and trash the rest.

(The most important thing I can tell you is to skool *BOTH SIDES*) If you do 10 toe stalls on your right foot, do 10 on your left. It will be really weird at first, but you will be glad you did.

1. Toe stalls, this will be the basic stall for most of your beginner tricks. (ATW, legover, mirage, so on.)

2. Outside stalls. Some people use these, but even if you don't, it is good to know how.

3. Inside stalls. This will help a lot with your clippers.

Once you get your toe stalls down, start skooling around the world, legover, and mirage. You can put together some nice strings with these tricks.

You should start skooling your clippers as soon as possible. They are really funky feeling when you first start working with them, but after several months, they will become very natural. Clippers are usually what determine if you are a real footbagger. Lots of people never make it past the clipper, but if you can, that's when the fun really begins. If you have any more questions, e-mail me at mwil3@yahoo.com, or jsut keep leaving messages on this board. I'm part of the Ft. Worth Hackaholics Footbag Club, so let me know when you get together with Derric, and -A- and I will probably come out too.

Later,
Mike
