I want to thank everyone for their well-wishes.

As most of you know, the band has been a major part of my father's life. He was one of the first members of the band, and he has always been very proud of this group. Whether it was 3 pipers and a bass at the Brentwood parade, or 18 pipers and 6 snares in NYC, he always felt every performance was better than the last.

I want you all to know that he was very proud of the commitment the band received from all of its members, and I know that he will always be a major part of everything the ACPB does. His tireless work got us to where we are today, and the work you've all done has made his efforts all the more satisfying. No doubt he will be pointing us out from Upstairs to anyone who will listen.

My father will be buried in our winter uniform.
