Tom Etter raises a good point. I have not done this parade, but if it is a 2 mile death march, we should probably know that before agreeing to do it twice.

I did a little research, and according to an article I found in the Sept. 2000 Hicksville Illustrated News, the parade route is as follows :

West on Marie Street from fire dept to Jerusalem Ave, south on Jerusalem to Old Country Road, east on Old Country Road to Broadway, north on Broadway to West John Street, west on John St to Newbridge Rd, south on Newbridge to west Barclay street passing under the arch to the tournament site.

I assume the parade route is the same this year. I don't have a Nassau County map handy, but would strongly recommend we look at one before we make a decision.
