Thank you to all who came to practice last night. For those who didn't make it, please keep in mind that our first gig is just over one week away and it's crunch time. We need EVERYONE at practice this time of year.

I realize that next week is winter break and some people, myself included, will be away, but there WILL be practice, especially in view of the gig 3 days later. Pat will be down next week based on the my representation to him that several people said last night that they would be there next week. Please make every effort to be there as Pat will be traveling from NJ.

After the parade/show stuff, Pat will be working with the contest band. Be prepared to play Jack's Welcome Home and Lochanside. Pat will also spend some time on Cabar Feidh, mainly to get a feel for the likelihood of us playing that tune. If we decide to scrap it, we will replace it with The Children, another four part march we played many years ago.

I'm returning from vacation the 22nd and expect to be at the show that night. See you then.

Marty
