You think that they are only there to break... and yet they are there for your own protection, the protection of others, and the assurance of a healthy life. Without them, what's to stop a full grown male from killing you without a second thought? Why couldn't every cat plunder from and kill others, while all you could do was sit back and watch your family be tortured and killed?
