She let loose a scream, both of shock & amazement. Well, there you go. The drunk had been right. And she was stupid. No surprises there.

A thud as she hit the ground, she attempted to push him off her, but her efforts were wasted. Underneath him, she kicked her foot towards her pistol. Sh*t, too far away, he'd pushed out of her hand when he'd tackled her.

Nothing left to do now but wait for death, since he seemed to have all intentions of killing her and using her bone as a toothpick afterwards.
