“My cool exterior only a cover for the deeper currents,
I get lost in the flow sometimes,
Caught up in its drift,
Cast away on the tide of depth and dimness,
When my dark side begins.”

that was great...really turned me on to the piece...gave it a turn to the more powerful side of this writing. the beginning threw me off some...seemed to be written only to be read by the object of the poem. after those lines, it all took on a meaning deep inside me (which is my opinion of he definition of poetry). there are a lot of good lines in here....too many for me to acually quote and point out.
i actually was in search of a new poetry posting site and just found this...it seems you just opened it recently...hope you gain some momentum...i am gonna post here, if you don't mind. can't wait to see more of your work...to see how your words pan out. oh, and please give me whatever critism i need...as a matter of fact, that is what i am searching for...i don't want praise, i want help. thanks...hmd~~highmae
