Memory: 10th Station of the Cross:
Jesus is stripped of His garments. In this station Jesus is stripped of the last things he had, his clothes. Everything was taken away from him, his parents, his rights, his respect, he was even prohibited from talking. What more can he lose? He is getting ready to get nailed to the cross, the ultimate punishment of that time. Jesus gave up everything yet people wanted more, his anguish.
Imagination: Im there and im seeing the most suffering I have ever seen in my life, I am so amazed at the extremes this man will go to so that we will undergo a metanoia, a turning point to God. I am amazed i bow my head and wonder, this is what he does for me, what have i done for him?
Will: Jesus looks over at me, we make eye contact, one on one. At this point I feel guilty i could'nt even look at his face i was ashamed of my sins. Quietly he says "Its not too late to turn back." I did not Respond.
