Charles I was executied on January 30,1649 at Whitehall.He was beheaded on a specially built scaffold.That day Cromwell was heard to say over the body of Charles 'cruel necessity'. He was buried on February 7,1649.
Henrietta Maria lived until 1669 and died in Paris. She lived long enough to see her daughter Henrietta Anne married to her dissolute cousin Philip from France. From Duke of New Orleans in 1661, and for her dissolute son Charles to be return to his throne as King Charles II.
CHARLES II returned from exile to succeed his father in 1660 after the death of Cromwell. Charles father had been executed in 1649. As is evident by the text of this document, Charles II believe for himself that he was King of England not from 1660 but from the moment of his father's death, signing in 1680 "in the 32 years of our reigne". He took New Netherland,like Amsterdam from the Dutch in 1664 and renamed New York in honor of his brother (The Duke of York, who succeeded him in 1685 as James II).
William maintained a long-lasting affair with Elizabeth Villiers, one of Mary's ladies-in-waiting, which prompted Mary to be completely devoted and subservient to her husband.Mart's death indicated just how much Wlliams relied upon and respected her.

john the 1st 1167–1216, king of England (1199–1216), son of Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine.

James' mother, Mary, was imprisoned in England by her cousin Queen Elizabeth then she was executed for her part in the conspiracy to assassinate Queen Elizabeth. However king James did not knew his mother.

Early Life

The king’s youngest son, John was left out of Henry’s original division of territory among his sons and was nicknamed John Lackland. He was, however, his father’s favorite, and despite the opposition of his brothers he later received scattered possessions in England and France and the lordship of Ireland.
