Hi im a plant bitech student in brisbane and have a keen interest in propagation of bromeliads using hormone stimulation etc. these techneques can very easily be applied to agarve and other succulents. One mature mother plant can in some cases give rise to almost a hunded propagals in only a few months, without the need of steryl tissue culture techneques. Definatly the way to go for an expanding nursery as it produces such high multiplication rate and is very cheap. I also know people who collect agarve and do monthly trips to sydney to sell them, they may be of help to you aswell. feel free to contact me about any of this. Simon.
