I have seen some spectacular results with rare seedlings grafted onto Pereskiopsis. They grow much faster than on Hylocereus, Thrichocereus and other ceroids. The big drawback is the gloichids. And the trick to doing the grafts on this stock is to leave some leaves on the stem below the grafting point. I am surprised that more people do not use Pereskiopsis as a sock for seedlings as it is dead easy to grow. I have some stock of this plant and would be more than happy to pass some on to you so just email me. Ian Hay
