Subject: cereus peruvianus

I just found out in a parisian garden (les serres d'Auteuil) on the lable of a cereus peruvianus that NASA had discovered that this cactus has benefic effect on radiations (for instance the one associated with computers. According to me that sounds like a joke of some kind but the context of this note (a garden where serious research on plants take place) make me wonder. Is anyone in here heard something about this connection between cereus and radiation and above all WHERE ? the only place where i found this "fact" or "legend" is on the sites of these very UNscientific people called "geobiologistes" ... so can't be kept as serious source.
Thank you for any information.
jp
