Great Work, You all! I have some concerns about the reputed requirement that all VCCS online courses meet twice each semester (at a minimum) for "evaluative exercises". I say "reputed" because I have never actually seen this directive in writing. I, too, would like to get all testing, as well as a considerable amount of tutorial exercises and quizzes, on the computer (despite this requirement). I will be examining a couple of course management softwares this summmer, but blackboard was dropped from our list due to their refusal to give us a free (or even a trial) version that could be used for more than seven students!
I'd also like to know more about testing (or interactive tutorial) software. I've been using Questionmark, but I understand that Scientific Notebook, Quia, QuizPlease, and -rumor has it- even Office 2000 are others we should examine. Anyone have any experience with these?
