Subject: 1984 VW GTI Running like crap when cold

 I have a 1984 VW GTI i just got the car, the guy that gave it to me Gave up on it! So now i have it in my shop. When i start the car "COLD" it runs like crap! misses and what not! till it worms up! why is that???? The car came with a extra motor so i have one for sale, Yes it does run! i live in Vancouver wa.....
