The St.Louis Blues have officially started their season and have played two games thus far. The Blues dealt a 4-1 loss to the upstart Edmonton Oilers, but were quickl dealt their first loss of the season by the powerhouse Philadelphia Flyers 3-1. The team has announced that it has traded Cory Stillman to the Los Angeles Kings in return for Radek Dvorak. Dvorak, will be playing on a line with Jan Hlavac as the traded reunited the two friends.

"Of course I am excited," said the newly acquired Dvorak. "I'm hoping to help out the Blues to go all the way. It's great to be back with Jan."

Hlavac was just as excited as Dvorak. Also, Hlavac was given a 4 year, 2.5millon dollar contract by the Blues to sign him away from free agency. "I'm happy to be playing in St. Louis. With Radek here, it is even better. We have an amazing and lineup and he just adds a lot more speed to it," said Hlavac.

The Blues are currently 1-1 in a very young UHA season. Reports have been stated that the Flyers are interested in a goaltender for Brian Boucher. A deal which had Johnson and Salvador going to Philly for Boucher was turned down by Abrahamsen in St. Louis. Also, many reports coming out of the east have the Blues looking at a few defensemen. Stay tuned as the Blues take on the Colorado Avalanche in their next contest.
