that's a shame. they're awesome. which CD did you hear?

>I saved these 3 to disk but I didn't get the others

yeah I put them up, let me know when you're done, I can't wait to put up some new ones.

>i LOVE concrete blonde. what album do you like? but
>I always thought cb was blondie - clearly I was wrong
>..... ha ha

oh yeah they're not blondie lol although I like blondie, they don't "send me" the way concrete blonde does. cb was my first favorite band. I have so much collectible stuff, concert shirts, rare vinyl, singles, it's sick. Johnette is the lead singer, and she is very difficult from all accounts. I just love difficult women. For the Albums, I would get them all, in this order:

Bloodletting (absolutely the best - one of my top 5 of all time- the other 4 being Radiohead Kid A, Patti Smith Horses, Mozart's Requiem, and the Creatures Anima Animus)- you can hear some samples of Bloodletting at Amazon.com

Group Therapy - they broke up for 8 years and just got back together this year (just for me) and this is their offering. Unlike most of these bloated corporate "bands" who get back together to cash in on old fans, this is one of their strongest efforts ever.

Still in Hollywood - compilation album of rare b sides and such. you can't imagine how pissed I was when this was released, as I had personally tracked down all the singles for years, but it's got that live Tomorrow Wendy track you've heard.

Mexican Moon- just awesome

Concrete Blonde (first album)

Free - I love this album! it's really hard to rate these!

Walking in London - some good songs, but definitely my least favorite. In fact, I'd say it's Bloodletting, Group Therapy, then Mexican Moon, Free, etc. all tied and Walking in London a ways down from there.

you can see some videos here (including their newest release "Take Me Home"): http://launch.yahoo.com/artist/videos.asp?artistID=1005690
