Subject: Day 5

I can’t believe it’s day 5 already. I had to work again – ugh! – but I played music and felt great. I’m still having a banana a day … I had hoped to “transition” to a pure juice fast by the fifth day, but I had guests over and didn’t have the time or energy to make juice for the third time that day.

Today (day 6) should go better …

I do have plenty of energy and work went a lot better. Nothing is overwhelming, everything seems simple. I’m in a much better mood most of the time, things don’t annoy me as easily. :)

This has been, mostly, a lot easier than I thought it would be. I really thought I’d be suffering miserably for all the “dietary transgressions” I’ve made recently, but the body is remarkably forgiving, it would seem.
