Well, I'm not actually self-employed. I work for a wellness company that owes a gym along with some rather large corporate contracts (not one of those chain gyms)...I get a nice percentage of what I charge and I love the company that I work for, could not ask for a better boss. At this point in the game, I would not try to go on my own yet, I'm rather "green in the business"...I get "free" adverstisng through my bosses established reputation, insurance coverage (liability), the demographics of the area is perfect in terms of attracting clients, etc. I still have to make the effort to get my clients, but I have also benefitted from circumstance as well. So, I have the best of both worlds, I still have to take the initiative. But maybe one day I'll go on my own. besides, I have a nice ole student loan coming due!
