However to everyone’s surprise Vaginimus turned away from Moby. Puzzled the LMB watched as the Super Space Sperm Whale flew around Vaginimus. Every time he approached the monster simply closed up and turned away. Bellowing with rage Moby spun around, spurned and rejected (and not a little frustrated) a movement in deep space caught his eye and he flew off at super speed, returning a few seconds later with a small planetary freighter in his mouth. Like a small puppy he dropped it in front of Vaginimus and then backed away with an expectant look on his face.
"Look" said Leap Year Lass "I think its attempting a courtship ritual, its bringing gifts in the hope of mating"
Vaginimus moved to the space ship and, in an image too shocking to write about, "examined" the needle pointed space ship. A few seconds later and with a roar of displeasure, Vaginimus tensed her muscles and sent the freighter shooting like a ping pong ball across the planetary system.
"Quick" shouted Cru, "Iron Rat you and Spacey go and rescue the crew of that space ship. Grey and Lash get back on board the cruiser, we need to have a conference"
In side the cruiser all was noise as the various LMB’ers came forward with plans to calm the super moby dick down.
"Well” said lash we could always just pour a very large bucket of cold water over it"
"ermmm guys" said Leapy from her position at the window, " I think you should see this"
In the past the LMB had seen how Vaginimus had used her strength and size to bulldoze all obstacles out of her way. A creature of emotion and brute strength, Vaginimus also had the power to attack targets from a distance through a powerful discharge. Occasionally this discharge formed itself into words to communicate her desires to others.
Now looking out of the window the LMB saw this discharge forming the words "WANT CHOCOLATE.....NOW"
Moby looked and then turned and accelerating at a phenomenal pace shot off into the vastness of space.
Omega Man looked up from the bottle of Tequila and slurred
"Hey wazzup, where the big fish go?"
Grey looked up from his monitor "Well without wishing to be the bearer of unfortunate news I do believe that I may have correctly extrapolated the vector of the space borne mammals trajectory and through simple logical calculation can postulate a potential arrival point"
After a few minutes of blank silence Grey sighed "I think I know where it has gone" he said.
"Oh, Oh Great. Well why didn’t you just say so in the first place” say Lash, "Tell us! We need to stop that creature before it destroys any more shipping."
Grey looked worried, "It is heading for Chocolate World"
The LMB looked worried, Chocolate world was, as well as being the Galaxy's sole source of Exochocolate (the best the most satisfying and a calorie free chocolate in the galaxy) it was home to a thriving tourist industry and the planets own chocolate flavoured inhabitants.
"Quick we have to save the non fattening chocolate from the monster” shouted Leap Year Lass,
The LMB cruiser turned and followed the Super Sperm Whale of space.
Meanwhile Cobalt and Lardlad had arrived on a strange planet. Due to the effects of Lartropic teleportation Cobalt was now sober and completely hangover free. Lardy on the other hand had absorbed Cobalt’s drunkenness as well as his own and had passed out on the floor.
Suddenly the lights went on and a sinister figure came into view
"Welcome to your prison. LMB fools” it said
"YOU” gasped Cobalt..................
