Subject: More on Heather MacRae (who plays Tillie)

I mentioned in another post that Heather MacRae is the daughter of Gordon and Sheila MacRae. Gordon of course won fame playing in such notable Hollywood musicals as Okalahoma and Carousel. But Heather has made her own mark on Broadway, and SOW reports that she is having a blast playing Tillie on One Life To Live.

Also, get this, you OLTL fans. Heather auditioned for the role of Meredith Lord in 1968 when the show first aired. She has yet another tie to the show. "It was while performing in her parents' nightclub act that Heather first met Michael Storm (Larry on OLTL). 'My sister and I and michael and this other guy named Craig Stevens were the backup singers.'"

She doesn't seem old enough to have auditioned for Meredith back in '68.

And just think, had she gotten the role, her character would have been killed off.
