Subject: wooden steering wheel restoration

About 5 or 6 months ago I found a page of an MG enthusiast who had remanufactured his own wooden steering wheel during the restoration project of his MG. The page has been removed since. Does anyone know where the owner moved his page? I would like to restore a steering wheel that I just found at a salvage yard and his instructions would be very helpful.

It was a dad-son project and they were located in Canada.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Francisco.
