Subject: Help! MGB GT Fuel Pump Location/Orientation

I have two 72 MGB GTs. One that I am restoring and one that is a parts car. The original fuel pump on my car has been removed some time ago and a cheap aftermarket pump was installed under the bonnet. I want to put it back to original but neither car has any indication the correct mounting of the fuel pump. There are no brackets and from looking at the lines, it is not obvious how it is supposed to be. I know it mounts near the right rear leaf spring. I believe the orientation is slightly different for the GT than a plain B. I have two Bs as well and I know the pump sticks through into the trunk. The GT does not have the same hole into the trunk area. PLEASE, does anybody out there have a GT and a digital camera and if so could you take a pic or two of your pump installed in the correct location so I can use it as a go by? I can't seem to find anything that shows this. Even the catalogs and manuals don't show it. If someone could email me a couple of pics I'd be very grateful. daved11@mindspring.com

Thanks for your help!
