Subject: You're right! The pickens are slim. I have seen both The Bernie Mac Show and 24, but unfortunately, I didn't get see the first few episodes.
In reply to: Tf 's message, "Well, it's slim pickens as I don't have HBO. The show I've enjoyed most this season is Bernie Mac. Really good kid actors. I watch 24 also. It's not perfect but it does have an interesting premise. Kiefer's character dodges an awful lot of bullets for one guy. He must have been really good at dodge ball as a kid." on 09:01:32 03/05/02 Tue

I've been enjoying Queer as Folk (Candy turned me on to it). There's a very Toddian character. The other thing I like about the show is that there's a broader range of gender/family/relational roles available. Less pigeonholing (pardon my sailorspeak) than in traditional hetero soap/drama. People have sex w/ each other and stay friends/aren't madly in love forever. The relationships among characters aren't so angular.

[> [> Hey Holly, you have me confused with someone else, I've never even heard of "Queer as FolK" I'm really out of the loop in here, I never watch nightime television, only the soaps. You can use ALL the sailor speak you want here, it's nobody's "Official" anything ..Fuckity, Fuck Fuck Fuck... see??? -- Candy who's only using the F word to prove her point, 16:42:53 03/06/02 Wed

[> [> Holly! I think it was me who mentioned "Queer as Folk"! You're talking about Brian ... omg ... he's totally a gay Todd - and the most incredible thing - he's MORE Todd thanTodd is these days, WAY more Todd. I'm really glad you're liking it. Great storytelling, great acting - good stuff. Universal themes is what shoots (no pun intended) this show to the top of the "great show" lists ... :) -- Cabbie Esq, 18:33:21 03/06/02 Wed
