Subject: I switch from CNN to Fox to PBS(dry but refreshingly free of vaudeville) desperately searching for an articulate liberal to cheer. I am currently being represented by Paul Begala, James Carville and the milquetoast on Hannity and Colmes. And now I hear pompous ass Phil Donahue is getting a spot! God Damm*t! It's a f**king conspiracy, I tell ya, to get the lamest democrats EVER and put them on primetime. I'm half in love with Tucker Carlson, that's how bad it's become. EORant:) And all this time I've been driven crazy, Holly's been watching my fantasy.
In reply to: Lafaux 's message, "Seems obvious why nobody is talking tv! There is nothing on it but crap! Is the genre dead, or have we outgrown it? Just think, movie moguls feared that television would be the death of the movie industry." on 20:02:27 06/11/02 Tue

[> [> [> I started watching Fox a lot when Geraldo went to Afghanistan. What's totally bizarre is that he comes off mild mannered compared to some of the anchors. And Greta Van Susteran doesn't seem quite as intelligent now that she's on Fox:) -- Tf, 18:36:59 06/18/02 Tue

>The only thing holding me back is that I don't want to have to monitor what my kids are watching late at night. I don't know about Showtime, but HBO has some really rancid shows on late at night. I did see the first season of QAF at the video store, so I might go that route now that you've given me the thumbs up on it. We do seem to like and dislike a lot of the same movies:)
I saw Oz a couple of times and really liked it. I might rent the first season of that, too. There really isn't anything good on network or standard cable right now.

Harsh Realm - Chris Carter was stretched way too thin, but this show deserved more than nine episodes (I have them on tape if anyone else wants to see)

Roswell - funny, funny

Politically Incorrect - the Comedy Central Yeears
