Manchester has given tenants the money to pay for a specialist solicitor to support us through the next stage of the discussions with them on the disposal of the estate.
His name is Martin Knox he works for a company in Birmingham called Anthony Collins….I think.
I have called this thread ‘ A note of Optimism’ cause I do feel a bit more confident that something can be done with the estate, that doesn’t mean lots of us will have to leave, after being at a meeting with Martin on Tuesday of this week.
He has helped lots of other estates even bigger than ours with as many problems, come up with really creative solutions and that is what we need right now, someone with a bit of vision on our side.
Below is link to a community organisation that he has worked with in Bradford, its well worth a visit to see what can happen if people work together.
