We are Lesley (les) and Muriel (iced_ms) two tenants who were involved in the proposed Hattersely housing stock transfer. Hattersley is in Tameside but the Hattersley estate belongs to Manchester city council.
We want to be able to comunicate with people in our own community who don't want to go to the meetings but want to ask us questions about what's going on, if we don't know the answer we will find the person that does.
We wonder if other peoples experience is like ours, in other areas? What were the good things, what were the bad things? Is it working for you?
We are going to try and promote the site within our own community and to other communities that have been through or are looking at going through the process of council housing transfer.
