Dear NSF

Perhaps it's time to have a look at your own accomplishments in your own life. From all accounts, Jan Ullrich is satisfied with how his life has gone so far, and he has damn good reason to be. What about you? Have you accomplished what you have set out to achieve?

Why a second place is so undervalued in your book is hard for me to imagine. I find J.U.'s tour record awe-inspiring. Sure, maybe he could have raced more in his life, but maybe he wanted to have a life, know what I mean?

It's not everyone's style to cram everything into a day that is humanly possible. Some people, I included, would get extremely stressed out by constant activity, appointments, meetings. God, these top-level professionals have so much on their adgendas without ever setting a foot in a pedal.
