Yes dynamat works, it is a sort of shield of sound. It completely absorbs sound from one side, and reflects sound from the other creating containment of all sound your system produces and keeping all exterior noise out. I also have hoodliners, that keep the sound inside the engine compartment. I have several different kinds, Extremeliner is the best so far. It conforms very well, and looks alright. 36 SQ FT will do a Diamante @ 145.00.
