I need an outside opinion. I come from a VERY close family. My husband is a professional musician. We have been in Texas for 7 years. We came back to Texas (my birthplace) to help my mom after my father passed away. I have a good job making about $40K a year. My husband plays music on the weekends and is unable to get a "good" day job that won't interfere with his music. We have decided to relocate back to Nevada at the first of the year. I haven't told my family and am dreading it. My oldest daughter (25) and granddaughter live with us and they will have to go live with my mom once we move. My mother has expressed that she "is too old to handle" my daughter living with her. But, she has no other place to go and doesn't have a good enough job to get her own place (her own fault). I feel guilty about leaving my family and leaving my job, but I want to go back to Nevada. I won't have to work and my husband will once again be the breadwinner. Am I doing the right thing? Is my guilt justified? I don't have anyone to talk to except my family and my husband. My family will tell me not to go. My husband will say if it bothers me I should stay. I don't want to hear those things. I want a real opinion.
