Icey Ridge

Icey Ridge
You stand at the bottom of the great ice covered cliff, the ice cold wind nearly knocking you off your paws, the snow drifts blowing into gigantic white clouds. A large female timber wolf appears out of a snow cloud in front of you. She stands sturdy on four black paws, not moved at all by the blizzard. "Hello stranger," she says to you, "I am Aster, Alpha Female of Icey Ridge." She rotates her black-tipped ears, listening to a sound you cannot hear. "You may stay in my land as long as you like, but I must go now. Follow me to the top of the ridge, it's much less windy there." She turns and climbs the ridge. You follow her up a steep path that leads to a wide cliff. In the cliff wall there is an entrance to a large tunnel that curves and swerves upward. Aster turns and says, "That is the way to The Den. The Den is where expecting mothers and young pups should stay."
