|:.Kaya looked up at the ness and followed to where she was pointing. When she looked back up at her, she was gone. She brought up her courage and trotted along he worn path. Everything was so peaceful and calm, nothing to worry about...yet. It was just then that a thick stream of smoke passed by. Soon she started to see cackling, orange flames that were all around her. Her vision started to blur slightly, for it was so hard to see with all the smoke and flames. How am I going to get out of this? She asked herself within her mind and looked around as best she could. She started to cough, but thankfully didn't choke. Kaya lowered her body as low as possible and started to crawl on the forest floor. Little criters were running all over the place. She looked around. It was like there were no ends to these cackling flames. Then she heard a cracking. She looked up and noticed a tree started to fall down on her. Kaya quickly moved and growled when it hit the ground, as if punishing it for almost hitting her. She was again on the move, carefully yet quickly. It seemed like hours had passed by, but it was probably only several minutes. Still the flames did not have an end. Come on, it's gotta be around here somewhere. She then spots a cave close by that was not being attacked by the fir, for leaves and vines covered the top of it. A large branch fell and took Kaya by surprise and was almost caught underneath it if she had not moved. Kaya once again growled and moved quickly and covered more ground than before. Then a squirell took her by surprise, weaving in and out of her legs. She tripped and tumbled out of the flaming forest and onto the cave floor. She coughed and did starte to choke after a while laying there. She sighed deeply and rolled over on her stomach. She started to wonder where the cave led to. Kaya decided to rest for now and would explore the cave later.:|
