Subject: Episodes with snow?

The Ponderosa is in the Tahoe area, albeit in the snow shadow of the Sierras on the eastern shore where snow is less prevalent. Snow is visible on the peaks in the background of the opening sequence but are there any episodes with snow on the ground? I don't recall any.

"The Last Hunt", "Gabrielle" and "The Fence" all have snow, but I don't think the snow was actually on the Ponderosa in them.

The snow shots for "Gabrielle" were filmed June 1961 with other ridng shots, ditto, etc. A late spring storm dumped lots of snow that month at the summit. Normally, it's mostly dry by then.

"Winter Kill", "The Last Hunt" & "The Fence" were filmed at Cedar Lake at Big Bear.

Did they make a Christmas Episode with any snow in it.? the reason I ask is because I have the xmas at the Ponderosa where they all take it in turns to sing xmas carols.I usually have sing along when I'm drunk.

I just saw the "Winter Kill" episode. Yeah, I'd say that had some snow in it!
