Subject: Paintings in opening credits for Bonanza (not the map)

I would like to find the artist who created the paintings? drawings? illustrations? of the opening credits for Bonanza - the episode we were watching was from 1971. They are red in background and have loosely painted figures etc. in black(western themed of course). To one side or in the center of each different drawing were the names of the cast and crew. My brother mentioned he would like to find out if there reprints available. I would really like to find a set for him if possible and they aren't too cost prohibitive. Any help anyone can give will be so appreciated. Thanks!

Folks have asked about those watercolors (I believe) before and if I remember right, the originals no longer exist and there is no way to find more or have them recreated by the original artist.

I am sorry I can't give you more information, but I have a feeling you would be waiting a long time for any other reply around these parts.

Best,
Trish

If you read season 1 episode 11 "Truckee Strip" it is noted this was the first episode these watercolors were used. They were painted by a journeyman at NBC. They were used through the 12 remaining years.
